Description

Transforming the Trent Headwaters is a project exploring the opportunities for nature conservation work to improve the habitat near the river Trent and its tributaries. It will also promote the areas heritage and seek to deliver cultural activities to improve the Trent Headwaters area.

We are hosting 2 events: the first at the New Vic Theatre on Thursday 6th March on and second at Biddulph Town Hall Monday 10th March to start the Community Conversation. As an organisation that works in this area, we would love to hear your views. We are inviting you to share your ideas to help plan this exciting new project .

At these events, you will:

- Help us by sharing your ideas to enhance the area around the river Trent in your area

- Find out about the history of the area from the project’s archaeologists and environmental consultants (tbc). Share your own history of the area.

- Learn more about the work that has been done and could be done to improve the environment around the river Trent from the Transforming the Trent Headwaters team
