Action West End is back in action after a few years break at Westwood Road Recreation Ground, Leek
Our residents' group will be bringing back our annual family fun day on Saturday, September 7, between 1pm and 5pm. This is an ever-growing event which is the only annual community event of its kind in the west end of Leek. As in previous years, September’s event is to include fairground rides, tombola and other side attractions, charity and artisan stalls, fun dog show, circus skills, refreshments, raffle, Action West End Teddy Drop, and live music.

Additional for this year we have the Majestic Owls, Moorlands Radio, a balloon modeller, and superheroes in attendance. Plus Guess How Many Balloons in a Car competition, and a car boot sale, and we have an enhanced programme of crafts for children including badge making and our Design a Superhero competition.

Action West End members are appealing for donations of prizes for their tombola and raffle, as well as for some of the side attraction games. The group is also on the look out for additional volunteers to help out on the day, whether that be in helping to put up and take down marquees and gazebos and/or with manning some of the games and stalls.
